Laurie's was the first record shop in Chicago I stepped foot in and by far became and stayed my favorite. The employees are awesome with no holier-than-thou attitudes; they offer good prices even though they're small and indie, they sell stuff besides music like books, videos, and toys (I bought vintage paper dolls last time I was there!).
